Ads or no ads
As you all know at the bottom of every page there is a bar of google adsense. Personaly I hate adverts, but I need it somehow to keep this service alive. Should I keep it, change it, or remove it completely. YOU DECIDE!

As a fellow webmaster, I understand the importance of revenue to both fund the site and to provide an incentive to keep things top notch. I don't think visitors will mind non-intrusive ads, and since you ARE providing this great service for free, ads shouldn't be a huge inconvenience for visitors.
Leave as is I say...I frankly rarely notice the ads, which is counterproductive from the business end I suppose. A PayPal donate button would not be a bad idea, nor would it be obtrusive.
Google ads are not offensive. The blinking banner ads are not acceptable and make me not interested in using your site.
leave the ads be. but please add the "public" homepage capability.
I think a low fee would be an acceptable alternative to ad revenues. See how SmugMug describes their policy on a small annual fee.
